Linux Mint is a variant of Ubuntu. However, compared to Ubuntu, Linux Mint is easier to do and more familiar for windows users. It seems that Linux Mint is designed for beginners who begins interesting in Linux. In addition, in its display similarity with Windows display, it will help the Windows users who begin interesting to use Linux Operating System.
In general, the installation process is very easy. We don't need to look for drivers when we start to install this Operating System because it will use the universal drivers for our PC. We are not in need to install the main programs too, because when we use the Linux Mint Master CD, the main programs are installed automatically.
