LiveCD with USB Fash
LinuxMint--the same as Ubuntu--is an unique system. Its liveCD is not only a CD/DVD, but USB Flash can be made as a LiveCD. To make a LiveCD with USB Flash, do:

Trying Linux Mint with LiveCD
Linux Mint is a variant of Ubuntu. It's simpler and easier. But if we are in doubt, we can try it from Windows with its LiveCD without installing Mint in our PC. You can download the latest version here or copy from a friend.
If you download it, you must burn it to a CD/DVD firstly, then use the CD/DVD as a LiveCD.

- Open the LiveCD with Windows Explorer
- Double click at mint4win.exe
- Choose try Linuxmint
- Your computer will be restarted and Linuxmint LiveCD will be started
